Travel Moments of 2016

This time last year I wrote down for my new year goals to drop everything and go and travel, and if you told me then that I would actually do I don’t think I would believe you. Even a few months into the year I changed it to ‘travel to a new country’ and I would put it onto next years goal. I don’t no what happened after that but something changed and I quit my job and two weeks later I had started my 4 month trip around Europe. It was the best decision I had ever made! I will go over the trip in more detail in future posts. But for now, here are some of the highlights.

Island Hopping Croatia

Island hopping seemed like one of those things that you just dream about doing but never do because its so expensive! But it was surprisingly easy and really affordable. They have beautiful clear blue beaches and amazing views so you get the chance you have to go to the croatia islands.

Auschwitz

This was a heartbreaking trip. Its tough to see and hear everything but I think its such an important experience to have.

Bulgaria – All of it

Bulgaria was the biggest surprise for me. I went there with no expectation and with no plan of what to do or where to go once I got to sofia but I spent an amazing two weeks exploring the country. So many beautiful views and amazing things to see. 100% recommend!

German Christmas Markets

This is something I have always wanted to do and they didn’t disappoint. I went to the ones in Berlin and not only were they amazing! There were so many of them!

Last minute plans are always the best and this was no exception. I traveled there as a couple of people I met were traveling there and I’m so glad I tagged along. Beautiful mountains and sea and a castle for a good view. What more do you want.

This was difficult getting it down to 5 favourite places! Let me no in the comments what your favourite moment was in 2016?
